Audrey Tautou
Audrey Tautou was born in Beaumont in the French city of Puy-de Domme on 8 August 1976. She was oldest among four kids. Her parents, a dentist and teacher recognized and backed her love for theatre and drama from a young age which superseded an initial desire to be a primatologist due to her fascination with monkeys. The actress became famous as a child actor quickly and with huge achievement. In 1998 after her studies, she was a participant in the French talent-scouting TV programme Jeunes Premiers which was sponsored by Canal+ and won Best Young Actress at the Beziers Festival of Young Actors before beginning her acting career in earnest. Tautou was raised in an Catholic family and attended religious services, despite having was a student in the Institut Catholique de Paris. In addition to acting, she took up modeling and was the spokesperson of L'Oreal Mont Blanc as well as Chanel. In the past, during Arles Arts Festival, Arles Arts Festival, she displayed a collection of photographs under the heading Superficial. Her photography largely focuses on fame and celebrity and turns the camera on those who scrutinized her when she exploded to stardom as Amelie and several self-portraits. Audrey Tautou became a star and was recognized internationally for her debut role as Amelie Poulain in the film Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amelie. Amelie won international acclai box office success and received acclaim at awards galas across the world. The film is still the top grossing French film on the market in US. In the years following this film, Tautou appeared in numerous films ranging from British dramas and Jean Pierre Jeunet's film Un long Sunday de Faancailles. Then she moved into Hollywood and appeared alongside Tom Hanks alongside Ron Howard in The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown.
